After completing the Product Lifecycle Management course, the student will:
- Explain methods of product data management and product lifecycle management using tangible practical examples
- Characterize different views of the product lifecycle and necessary measures for data and process integration
- Analyze and evaluate organizational and methodological prerequisites for the introduction and application of PLM concepts
- Demonstrate the economic benefits of using PLM concepts
- Identify approaches for the integration of different product data within IT systems and design solutions for PDM or PLM systems
- Prepare the implementation of PLM solutions in enterprises and successfully organize their introduction
